Facebook Account Hacked & Disabled By Facebook

My Facebook account, which I have used for the past ten years, was hacked a few days ago. The hacker started using the account probably because of illegal activities, so Facebook disabled it. They sent me an email to confirm my ownership of the account by sending my ID, which I did. Facebook send me a code to use on the account and the link to click on. When I clicked on the link and input the code they sent as a password, it said wrong credential, invalid username, or password. I have tried several times with the same result.

Please contact Facebook Support directly through their Help Center, providing all relevant details and screenshots. Also, try using a different browser or clearing your cache before reattempting the login. Ensure you use the exact code and follow the provided instructions precisely.

I tried various suggestions on the net to recover the account, but none worked, I have now recovered the account after almost a month of being locked out of Facebook. When the account was hacked and Facebook locked it, I reached out to them, but the link they gave me after sending my ID to prove that I owned the account was always saying Password incorrect when I impute the code given to me. I did it three times. The last time, Facebook sent me the code and the link through WhatsApp instead of email, which worked. Many thanks.
